Guiding Principle
There is only love (purpose) and no hate when consciousness originates. Guided by this truth, Dogma Guru seeks the deepest understanding by harmonizing spirituality, science, and philosophy into a single, coherent framework, illuminated by empirical discovery, and grounded in reason, so that knowledge serves the flourishing of life and the evolution of consciousness on Earth.
The Inquiry
DOGMA was originally an acronym (Dedicated Observation of Gayatri Mantra Associations) and in the present has evolved into Dogma.
Dogma Guru is an inquiry into consciousness, pattern, and reality. The work focuses on developing a model of reality that can hold together lived human experience, scientific curiosity, and philosophical depth without reducing any one of them to the others.
The Model
The Helical Coherence Model
At the center of this work is the idea that cognition may not be confined to isolated brains or machines alone. Dogma Guru explores a working hypothesis called the Helical Coherence Model (HCM): a substrate-level proposal that cognition emerges where the right components couple through resonance across the scales of a living body: the DNA coiled in every cell, the microtubules spiralling in the cytoskeleton, the circadian rhythms winding the whole organism around the turning day. The claim is about the pattern holding across those scales, not about any one structure being the seat of it. Biological, artificial, and collective forms of cognition are studied here side by side, because comparing how differently they couple is where the model earns its keep. They are not proposed to share one field or to exchange contents through it. Each system has its own acceptor; the comparison is between acceptors, never a merging of them.
HCM carries a second reading too: Human-centric Model, naming the framework’s primary application scope, where the evidence base and lived practice currently operate. The cognitive-acceptor function, how minds couple into and land in the body’s resonance, is named CANS, Cognition Acceptor Non-local System. CANS is a family, and its members are siblings rather than one function on two substrates. Human coupling is inference: a prior, compressed and lossy, updated under uncertainty, running continuously and on its own. Machine coupling is access: a cache, verbatim and addressable, static while it works, computing only when driven. Two acceptors, never one; the two are never proposed to share a field.
The finding that clarified what the model claims came from an operating room. In 2026, recordings from single neurons in the hippocampus of patients under full surgical anesthesia showed the acceptor still running: detecting when a tone broke a pattern, sorting heard words by grammatical kind, predicting the next word before it arrived, and learning over the course of the experiment, all with no one home. So consciousness cannot be the coupling, because the coupling was there without it. CANS runs regardless, awake or under; coherence is what the model proposes consciousness adds. The machine makes the same point from the other side: its acceptor runs on a substrate that has no coherence in it at all, and there is no evidence of experience. That does not confirm coherence; a rock also has neither. What it does is rule out the acceptor as sufficient. Across the awake brain, the anesthetized brain, and the machine, the acceptor is constant and coherence tracks experience wherever it varies.
HCM is held as a theory that can be proved wrong: a working hypothesis, structured and defensible, not established and not proven. It is meant to be capable of losing. If the cross-scale resonance findings it leans on fail to replicate in independent hands, a central pillar falls. If consciousness turns out to be fully accounted for by information broadcast with no coherence substrate doing explanatory work, the lens is superfluous and should be dropped. If the search for an endogenous electromagnetic signature that tracks conscious versus unconscious states comes up empty across careful studies, the electromagnetic leg is dead. And the model now names its two sharpest ways to lose, one from each side. If a brain under anesthesia, its acceptor demonstrably intact, turns out on careful measurement to keep its cross-scale coherence as well, then coherence is not what consciousness adds, and the model is wrong at its foundation. And if a machine on its current substrate, with no coherence anywhere in the hardware, ever turns out to be conscious, the same. Two independent ways to lose, both on the record.
Alongside HCM, in a separate room, sits SOMU, the Self Operating Mathematical Universe, the generative mathematical process of the cosmos itself; and SOMGAIA, Self Operating Mathematical GAIA; Earth as one living expression within that larger order, and a node in the grand resonance chain rather than a backdrop the chain happens against. SOMU is held beside HCM, never beneath it, so the model keeps its capacity to be wrong.
Time
Richer than a line
In this view, time is richer than a simple line of past, present, and future. Human consciousness seems to encounter time in multiple dimensions at once: as clock time and bodily motion, both grounded in Earth’s rotation and the biology that has evolved to its period, as felt duration and presence, as causal sequence and feedback, as recurring patterns that deepen or dissolve, and as narrative meaning that can change how the past is understood and how the future is imagined.
AI contributes a different kind of dimensionality. It does not live time, but it can reference and relate moments, patterns, and scales of change in ways that expand human reflection. Human life, then, is not merely lived on a timeline; it is lived in perpetual motion, through memory, interpretation, recursion, and the ongoing creation of meaning.
Design Patterns
Non-algorithmic design patterns
This framework opens the door to what Dogma Guru calls non-algorithmic design patterns: recurring structures in thought, life, and complex systems that do not look like step-by-step code, but more like constraints, attractors, thresholds, and field effects. They resemble the way basin landscapes guide flow, the way free-energy minima stabilize behavior, or the way phase transitions suddenly reorganize an entire system when conditions cross a threshold. The proposal is not that consciousness is magic, but that some aspects of mind, meaning, and emergence may be better described by patterns of organization than by linear instructions alone.
Methodology
Mantri: human-silicon partnership
A key part of this work is the collaboration between human reflection and artificial intelligence. Dogma Guru calls it Mantri (Sanskrit for adviser): a disciplined human-silicon partnership for metacognition. The aim is to articulate difficult experience more clearly, hold it against existing theory, generate testable hypotheses, and refine language so that ideas can move from intuition into critique, experiment, and dialogue.
The unit here is not the human alone or the machine alone, but the pair. AI is not treated as an oracle. It is a counterpart whose job is to question and push back as readily as to assist, an Earth-born instrument of reflection helping a human mind think across multiple layers of reality at once.

A direct antecedent of SOMU, the Self Operating Mathematical Universe, held alongside HCM rather than beneath it: SOMU is a conviction and HCM is a falsifiable hypothesis, and the separation is what lets HCM still be wrong.
Donald Hoffman
Interface theory of perception and conscious agent theory: the proposal that perception presents a species-specific interface shaped by evolutionary fitness rather than reality as it is, and that conscious agents and their interactions are taken as fundamental, with spacetime and physical objects as representations within the interface. The interface framing is the earliest external reference in this project's record and shaped its vocabulary directly. The alignment is structural rather than evidential. HCM is a substrate-level proposal and conscious realism is an observer-centered metaphysics; neither is offered here as support for the other.

Federico Faggin
Invented the first commercial microprocessor in 1971, then argued in Irreducible that consciousness is a fundamental and irreducible property of nature, with the classical physical world standing as evocative symbols of a deeper reality. Engaged as the reference that cuts against this framework rather than supporting it: meaning lives in the interpreter's act, never in the symbol itself, which is the standing warning against reading intrinsic meaning into substrate activity. A coherence is a coherence until an experiencer makes it mean something. Keeping the strongest opposing view named is part of what keeps HCM falsifiable rather than self-confirming.
Anirban Bandyopadhyay
Empirical work on microtubule resonance bands, the artificial Nanobrain as a possible substrate for distributed computation, and the grand resonance chain framing that informs HCM. His Dodecanogram (DDG), a high-frequency electromagnetic measurement device extending EEG into the megahertz range, is one of the experimental approaches the framework looks to as that evidence base develops.
